Our Family
We at Mr Green are a small family business that Eat, Sleep and Breathe Fruit & Vegetables. After wholesaling for the last 10 years to some of Adelaide's best restaurants, we now bring our premium offering of fruit & vegetables direct to your door.
Simon began in fruit and veg at the ripe old age of 13 as his first job at Metropolitan Fresh Unley. Over the years working in both retail shops and the central market before venturing into Wholesaling.
Simon has had produce go far and wide and has supplied a wide range of restaurants and events. His highlights include supplying the sets of motion pictures with Russell Crowe, Nicole Kidman, Chris Hemsworth. Along with working closely with Fergus Henderson from St John in London for a charity event and the godfather of Australian cuisine Tony Bilson.
As our trade has been decimated in excess of 80% by COVID-19, we launched this business to support our family, and two young children under 2. We were currently in the process of developing an online platform however we have fast tracked it to offer you a hassle free farmer to front door delivery service.
